Mississippi Firefighter’s Helmet-Cam Video of House Fire

A Corinth (MS) firefighter shared helmet-cam video of his department’s response to a large house fire in January.

The YouTube video (http://youtu.be/Oa_BOu3szpc) posted by Chris Duncan shows firefighters rolling up on scene to a heavily-involved home with reports of victims trapped. Neighbors had reportedly removed a young child from a bedroom, but crews were advised the father was still inside the burning home.

A firefighter made entry into bedroom, located and removed the victim just prior to the room flashing over.

According to a report from the local FOX affiliate (http://bit.ly/Wj8Qqy), the victim is being treated in a burn center in Jackson but is expected to recover.
