MAYVIEW, Missouri – One firefighter was killed and another injured in a crash east of Kansas City on Monday.
KSHB reports that the Mayview firefighters were pinned after one vehicle struck another parked on the side of the road and pushed it down an embankment.
Firefighter Jeffery Sanders, 55, was killed and Firefighter Jacob Hayward, 33, is listed in critical condition at a Kansas City hospital.
