Molly Says, “Happy New Year!”

Happy New Year, boys and girls!

Welcome to Molly’s Kids Zone!

My name is Molly, and I am a real fire dog. I love teaching fire safety to kids just like you!

One of the things I like about being a fire dog and mascot is being able to travel the United States sharing fire safety with boys and girls just like you!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s hard to believe that it is already 2018, isn’t it?

What is your New Year’s resolution?

My New Year’s resolution is to plan more fun fire safety activities online for boys and girls like you and reach more children and their families with the fire safety message.

I also hope to finally be able to Skype my fire safety program with students from Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Hawaii, and Wyoming. I have been trying to find a class from each of those states to Skype with for the past two years and I hope I will get lucky in 2018!

P.S. Thanks to my friends at State Farm, you can Skype with me FREE! Click HERE to learn more and let’s have fun learning about fire safety!

WINTER FIRE SAFETY TIPS FOR GROWN-UPS

It’s that time of year again: Winter!

More fires happen this time of year, so I wanted to share one of my favorite fire safety tips. Please share with your grown-ups!

Grown-ups, here is more information on working smoke alarms!

> Three out of five home fire deaths result from fires in properties without working smoke alarms.

> More than one-third (38 percent) of home fire deaths result from fires in which no smoke alarms are present.

> The risk of dying in a home fire is cut in half in homes with working smoke alarms.
