According to a report from ABC7, a fire that ripped through a three-story apartment complex in Orange, New Jersey, on Park Avenue at High Street early Tuesday morning was eventually elevated to five alarms.
The flames broke out around 1:30 a.m. The top floor incurred the most extensive damage, but the fire also touched the first two floors as well.
All residents escaped to safety, and no injuries have been reported, but fire officials said an estimated 137 residents have been displaced.
Firefighters are now searching the interior of the building to for any other residents. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
There were detours for buses in the area as officials continued to work on the scene.
