Henrico (VA) – The Red Cross is aiding an adult and her child burned out of their eastern Henrico apartment. Henrico Fire spokesman Captain Jim Mellon said the small fire at the Oakland Village Apartments damaged two units at around 12:55 a.m.
Mellon said the fire started in an upstairs bedroom and was contained to that area. But the destruction was so severe the two living inside are not allowed back inside at this time.
