A district chief for the Gulfport (MS) Fire Department passed away after contracting the coronavirus, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.
While on duty, District Chief Marshal Hilley contracted COVID-19 while at the fire station. He passed away from the virus on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
