Multiple Fires Hit NC City in 3 Hours

Investigators from the city fire department are examining five fires reported on Sunday within approximately three hours along Nations Ford Road in southwest Charlotte, according to a report from the Charlotte Observer.

According to the report, investigators are currently gathering information about each fire. Fire officials said the fires were intentionally set and could be related but could not confirm any other specific information related to the case. 

The report indicates that one fire occured at a used-tire business and the others in outdoor trash bins at two schools. There were no injuries reported in any of the fires.
