At least two people were seriously injured in a raging overnight house fire in Buffalo, New York.
A woman and her young child were sent to the hospital with apparently serious injuries, according to a WIVB report (http://bit.ly/W80F3J). A male and another child were also taken from the fire scene in ambulances.
The fire began on the lower level of the home. A call came in at around 12:25 a.m., but by the time firefighters arrived on scene, the house was already engulfed in flames. The fire also extended to exposure dwellings on either side, heavily damaging them. The original fire building collapsed.
Firefighters entered the house from the rear and found the mother and child in a back bedroom. They remained on scene until 3 a.m. to extinguish hot spots.
