NAFI Hires Insurance Coordinator to Assist with Launch of Professional Liability Insurance Program for Members

The National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) is pleased to welcome Paulette Braga as its new insurance program coordinator. Ms. Braga joined NAFI in October and will directly manage the agency’s new E&O insurance program that aims to deliver inclusive and affordable professional liability insurance to its members.

Ms. Braga is a Bradenton resident who has extensive experience in the insurance industry in underwriting, marketing and managing multiple lines of business, such as package, automobile, umbrella and worker’s compensation. She earned a B.A. in Business Management from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, and holds multiple industry designations and licenses, including Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, Certified Insurance Counselor, and Associate in Automation Management.

NAFI’s new E&O liability insurance program is the latest example of its continuing effort to enhance the professional lives of its membership. The program is underwritten by Lloyd’s of London and offers broad coverage that targets key professional liability exposures not commonly available to fire investigators, such as full civil liability, breach of client contract, breach of intellectual property rights and coverage for punitive and exemplary damages. For more information about the program, call 941-359-2800 or email pbraga@nafi.org.
