>> Delaware Senator TOM CARPER was named co-chairman of the Congressional Fire Services Caucus (CFSC), filling the position formerly held by Vice President Joe Biden. Elected to the Senate in 2000, Carper serves on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Environment and Public Works Committee, and Finance Committee. Carper joined the CFSC in 1989 as an original member while serving in the U.S. House of Representatives.
