Nashville (TN) Fire Captain Dies After Contracting COVID-19

The U.S. Fire Administration released a notification on the death of a firefighter with the Nashville (TN) Fire Department who passed away after contracting the coronavirus.

While on duty, Captain William Michael “Mike” Brooks, 59, contracted COVID-19 from responding to numerous emergency medical calls. He passed away from the virus on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
