A Nashville (TN) firefighter has died after contracting the coronavirus, according to a report from the U.S. Fire Administration.

While on duty, Engineer Malcolm Arrington, 54, contracted COVID-19 from responding to numerous emergency medical calls. He passed away from the virus on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
