Nine Injured in Raging Harlem (NY) Apartment Building Fire



According to a report from ABC7, nine residents of a six-story apartment building in New York City’s Harlem section were hurt after a fire erupted on its second floor Tuesday night.

The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) arrived to 137 West 141st Street at around 8:20 p.m. Fire crews took about one hour to bring the flames under control.

FDNY officials said five residents refused medical attention, while four others were transported to Harlem Hospital.

There is no update on their conditions, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
