NJ Auto Shop Fire Leads to Partial Collapse



According to a report from ABC7, a fire that struck an auto body shop in Kenilworth, New Jersey, on Tuesday night led to a partial roof collapse during the firefight.

Crews from the Kenilworth Fire Department and Rescue Squad as well as from the Union County borough were dispatched to Perfection Plus at 740 Federal Avenue. Firefighters worked through the night extinguishing the flames.

No one was in the the shop at the time the flames broke out, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
