NJ Firefighter Suffers Serious Arm Injury at Motel Fire

A firefighter seriously hurt her arm and one guest suffered minor injuries at a motel fire in New Jersey, according to northjersey.com.

Firefighters rescued a guest from a second floor window. One of the firefighters who escorted the guest out cut her arm and was taken to the hospital, along with the guest.

Several firefighters were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Arson Unit and local police are investigating the cause of the fire.

Fire photographer Tony Greco was at the scene and shared some photos from the fire at Town House Motel in Elmwood Park.
