NJ House Fire Leaves Two Residents, Two Firefighters Hurt

Two residents were treated for smoke inhalation and two firefighters injured during a house fire in Cranford on Tuesday.

The fire, which broke out at about 9:45 a.m. at a singe-family home on Lenhome Drive, was brought under control in about 45 minutes, Cranford police said in a statement.

One firefighter was brought to a local hospital to be treated for injuries not considered life-threatening while another was treated at the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
