Firefighter, Cop Injured in NJ Nursing Home Fire

Fire forced the evacuation of a nursing home in Maple Shade, New Jersey, displacing about 115 residents, according to a news report. The fire started in a basement dryer and quickly spread. Six fire companies responded to the incident. A firefighter was hospitalized for burns while a police officer was hospitalized for smoke inhalation; officials on scene said the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. All the residents got out safely.
