Nuclear Submarine Burns in Russia

Military officials in Russia say that an unspecified number of crew members remained inside a burning nuclear submarine after several others were rescued and sent to hospitals for treatment of carbon monoxide fume inhalation on Friday, according to a report from WNYT NBC Albany, New York.

The report indicates that russian firefighting crews extinguished the large fire aboard a docked Russian nuclear submarine as some of the crew remained inside. The crew confirmed that there was no radiation leaks and that nuclear-tipped missiles were not on board the vessel.
