Nutley (NJ) Fire Department T-shirt drive supports Special Forces

The Nutley (NJ) Fire Department has designed a shirt that supports the Special Forces of the Army. One of the department’s members has a brother in Iraq serving with the 5th Group there. For every shirt sold ($15), two shirts are delivered, with the help of Army Chaplain Major Jim Murphy, to soldiers serving in Iraq.

Thus far the department has sent over 450 shirts to soldiers. The New Jersey State Firemen’s Mutual Benevolent Association (NJFMBA) has a similar program, started by North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue Captain Kevin Moore, who lost his godson in Iraq.

Below are images of the shirts. If you’d like more information on this program, contact John Redstone, johnered66@yahoo.com of the Nutley FD.
