NVFC video highlights volunteer fire service
The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) recently completed the five-minute video Volunteer Firefighters, They`re People You Know, which features various facets of firefighting, including urban search and rescue, wildland firefighting, and EMS, and describes the NVFC`s role in the fire service. It will be aired over the Fire and Emergency Television Network (FETN).
The video can be used as a fundraising or retention and recruitment tool. For a minimal fee, the fire department`s name and address can be added at the end of the video.
