NY Firefighter Found Dead at Fire Station

A 57-year-old firefighter was found dead Saturday morning at a fire station in Binghamton, New York.

Longtime firefighter John Janos was on call the night before and had climbed five flights of stairs to investigate a smoke detector false alarm, the Associated Press reported (http://bit.ly/145KeZb).

The Secret List said that after the call, Janos wasn’t feeling well, reportedly with something that “seemed like indigestion.”

The cause of his death is still under investigation pending an autopsy.
