Thomas Brookins shared the below video from his award-winning documentary, “Fire and Water,” in which some of the biggest names in surfing history pay homage to the brave men and women of the fire department.
According to the film’s site, for FDNY firefighter Don “Gums” Eichin, water has not only acted as his weapon of safety, but also a source of recreation.
