Officials Investigating Large Cleveland Fire

Officials return to the scene where a large fire that broke out in the 9000 block of Lorain Avenue on the city’s west side Saturday evening, reports

This is a three alarm fire at a two story brick building, according to Cleveland’s fire department. Three people were rescued and were taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. Two of them have been released as of Sunday morning.

Fire crews were told to evacuate the building as flames engulfed the building. Officials said the building had working smoke detectors.

WKYC crews saw several explosions as fire crews tried to put out the fire since the apartment sits beside several power lines.
