Another Oil Rig Explodes in the Gulf

An oil production platform exploded in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana on September 2, 2010. Initial reports indicate that there were no worker deaths and that all 13 workers who had leaped from the platform into the water are now safe. This platform was near the site of the oil rig explosion that caused a massive oil spill into the Gulf earlier this year.
