OK Firefighter Killed in Wildland Fire

The U.S. Fire Administration issued a notification on the death of an Oklahoma firefighter at the scene of a wildfire around Lake Ellsworth in March 2022.

On Sunday, March 20, 2022, Firefighter April Partridge, 55, with the Edgewater Park Volunteer Fire Department responded to a wildland fire. During firefighting operations she was separated from the crew and the apparatus. When Firefighter Partridge was discovered by fellow firefighters, she was found deceased.
