OK Firefighters Describe Near Miss at Building Collapse

Three firefighters experienced a brush with death when the floor gave way beneath them at a fire scene in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The close call happened Monday after firefighters had extinguished a raging fire in the 10th Street flea market, according to a KOCO report (http://bit.ly/wFZ1WM). Three firefighters were on the second floor when suddenly the floor collapsed beneath them, dropping them down to the first floor of the structure.

None of the firefighters were seriously injured, but all went to the hospital to get checked out. They were back on the job Wednesday.
