
One person sustained serious injuries after jumping from a Newark (NJ) structure fire that left another man dead, according to news reports.

The fire occurred early Wednesday, just before 6 a.m., at a home on Summer Avenue, according to ABC News. The jumper reportedly leaped from a second-story window, and three other people sustained minor injuries. Another man was pronounced dead at the scene, and two animals were also reportedly killed.
