One Dead, One Injured in Cleveland (OH) Fire

CLEVELAND, Ohio — One person is dead and another injured following a house fire Thursday in Cleveland’s West Boulevard neighborhood, officials said.

The fire broke out about 2:30 p.m. at a multi-unit boarding home on Denison Avenue near West 99th Street.

A city spokeswoman said one person died at the scene and an ambulance took a 66-year-old man to MetroHealth with serious injuries.

Fire investigators are working to determine what caused the fire. No other information was immediately released.
