One Dead, One Injured in Newark (NJ) Fire

A single-alarm fire killed one man and burned another this morning in Newark, New Jersey.

The Star-Ledger reports (http://bit.ly/1iNio5V) that the fire began in the basement of a five-story apartment building in the city’s North Ward.

Firefighters brought the fire under control in 20 minutes, but one mad died and another was hospitalized with burns.
