One Dead, Three Children Critical After OH House Fire

According to a report from WBNS, a 22-year-old man was killed, three girls were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, and a woman was hurt after a fire tore through a home on Midland Avenue in west Columbus, Ohio, early Thursday morning.

Columbus Division of Fire (CDF) crews arrived just before 1 a.m. to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the structure.

The deceased man and the girls, ages 7, 8, and 10, were discovered on the second floor. The girls were then taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

CDF members said another woman was found outside of the home and was transported to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. She is now in stable condition.
