One Dead, Two Injured in IN Mobile Home Fire

According to a report from WISHTV, officials with the Wayne Township (IN) Fire Department (WTFD) announced today that one person has died after being rescued from a mobile home fire on the west side of Indianapolis, Indiana, Friday morning. Two others were injured in the incident.

Early morning Friday, WTFD fire crews responded to a mobile home fire with entrapment on Rushmore Boulevard East Drive near West 10th Street and North Raceway Road.

WTFD crews found three people inside the mobile home. Two were removed, while one person self-escaped from the burning home.

According to the release, the victim who was rescued later died from their injuries.

Officials ruled the fire as accidental. No further information has been released on the two other victims.
