One Firefighter Injured Battling Four-Alarm Elizabeth (NJ) Fire

Firefighters responded late Sunday to a fire that burned a trucking facility in Elizabeth, New Jersey, according to reports.

WABC reported that heavy smoke and flames could be seen from nearby Newark Liberty Airport.

The report said numerous explosions could be heard during the course of the fire, and the building’s roof collapsed.

One firefighter sustained minor unspecified injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
