One Million in Damage After McBain (MI) Wood Plant Fire

Crews from five departments battled a fire at the Hydrolake Leasing Company plant in Missaukee County, reports Upnorthlive.com.

The fire started Friday around 6:30 a.m. at the plant Gerwoude Drive in McBain.  Firefighters said this is the largest fire in many years in McBain.

No one was inside at the time of the fire due to it being shut down for the holiday.

Officials say damage estimates will be well over the one million dollar mark.
