One Person Dies in Vermont Motor Home Fire

Authorities are investigating a fatal fire Saturday morning at a motor home in Eden, reports The Associated Press. Vermont State Police said firefighters responded to the fire at 4:30 a.m. The motor home was parked about 250 yards off the road, and because the driveway was not plowed, firefighters had to carry hose lines by hand to the fire, police said. After the fire was put out, firefighters discovered a victim inside the home. The victim’s name is being withheld until an autopsy is performed, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
