Orlando Mayor Agrees to Independent Investigation

Orlando, FL � Orlando mayor Glenda Hood has agreed to an independent investigation ito the allegations by 33 firefighters that the city hid medical problems from them for up to 20 years.

The Mayor changed her mind citing the time constraints involved with the case and the immediate need for information that a private investigation could not yield. She is now looking to recruit unbiased hospital administrators and doctors as well as companies to review medical records to the determine if the city is guilty of the allegations.
