PA FFs Save Man from Flooded Road

Firefighters were called to an area along Montgomery County creek to rescue a man from a flooded road in suburban Philadelphia early Sunday, according to a report from Philly.com.

Firefighters proceeded to use a boat to rescue the man, who was clinging to a tree, but hit a guard rail masked by flood waters brought by Hurricane Irene. The report indicated that the rescue boat took on 7 or 8 inches of water after the damage, but firefighters stayed aboard, rescued the man, and treated him at the scene.
