A young firefighter with the Perrytown (NC) Volunteer Fire Department has passed away after contracting the coronavirus, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.
Firefighter Joshua Megill, 21, contracted COVID-19 while on duty in August 2021 and passed away from complications due to the virus on September 9, 2021.
