Philadelphia Firemen Killed
At a fire in the leather factory of Swoboda & Sons and the warehouse of Joseph Dielitsky in Philadelphia, Pa., early in the morning of October 5, four members of the fire department were killed, and several others were overcome by smoke and fumes from burning chemicals. The loss was estimated at $200,000.
