Photos: Crews Control Hempstead (NY) House Fire

Photos and info from FirstOnScenePhotos

The Hempstead (NY) Fire Department was toned out for a house fire on Nassau Parkway on Monday, July 5, 2021.

Arriving companies found a vacant, boarded-up, two-and-a-half-story house with fire on the second floor and immediately went to work.

Lines were stretched and the building was laddered.

The house was the scene of several fires in the past and structural conditions hampered fire operations.

There were no reported injuries, and the blaze was brought under control within 30 minutes.
