Craig Jackson of In the Dark Photography shared some images of Orlando (FL) firefighters working at the scene of a recent house fire.
Crews responded around 7 p.m. tonight to a two-story residential fire on W. Washington St. that was fully involved. Two patients transported as trauma alerts. Fire investigators are on scene.
Two people were rushed to the hospital with severe burns from a house fire on West Washington Street near Exploria Stadium, according to the Orlando Fire Department (OFD). One patient reportedly jumped from the second floor of the home to escape encroaching flames. An OFD spokesperson says the fire is being investigated as “suspicious.”
Just before 7 p.m. Saturday, fire crews were sent to the building, which neighbors say is divided into eight rooms used for short-term rentals. Within two hours, crews were able to extinguish the majority of the flames. The power has been turned off and the building is considered unlivable by The Red Cross.
