Photos: Firefighters Control West Hempstead (NY) House Fire

FirstOnScenePhotos shared some photos of firefighters responding to a house fire at a private dwelling in the town of West Hempstead on Long Island, New York.

The first call came in around 4:45 p.m. on January 6, 2023, for the fire in a split-level home on Berryhill Court near Mayfair Avenue.

Units arrived to find flames coming from a rear window on the ground level and a heavy smoke condition throughout the home.

All occupants were confirmed out and lines were quickly stretched to the fire area.

Mutual aid companies from surrounding districts assisted at the scene.

Nassau County Fire Marshals were called to the scene to investigate the cause.
