Fire photographer Rick McClure shared some images of City of Los Angeles (CA) Fire Department (LAFD) firefighters responding to a rail incident in late May.

On May 28, 2021, a MetroLink passenger train collided with an unoccupied stationary vehicle on the tracks in Pacoima. The vehicle appeared to be mechanically disabled. Ten patients who were on the train were evaluated by LAFD firefighter-paramedics for complaints of pain. Seven were transported to area hospitals in fair-to-moderate condition. Three declined transport.
