HANDLINE NOZZLES
Jaffrey Fire Protection Co. has introduced a line of firefighting handline nozzles, the Viper line, ranging from 50 to 350 gpm and made from E-Lite aluminum alloys and synthetic rubber. They are available in constantgallonage and automatic-pressure models. Standard features include large, molded composite shutoff handles; pistol grips; manual flush; and spinning or fixed teeth.

FIXED SYSTEM GAS DETECTION
AIM Safety USA, Inc., has added fixed system gas detection equipment to its line of portable, handheld gas detectors. The 900 Series can monitor several locations at once with various transmitters and control boxes. Gas sensor transmitters can be specified as explosionproof, one-contact relay, two-contact relay, display, or any combination of the four. Eleven sensor choices are available.

ELECTRIC APPARATUS VALVES

W.L. Gore & Associates has introduced its CROSSTECH ‘ technology into a glove insert designed to protect against bloodborne pathogens and liquid chemicals. The insert meets the requirements of the 1993 edition of NFPA 1973 and remains intact when subjected to NFPA heal requirements.
