Family: Man Escaped Ohio Fire, Ran Back In to Save Others

An Ohio family described how a young man who escaped a fire at the Scioto Village Apartments in Hardin County nearly two weeks ago ran back inside to help others.

WBNS-10 reported that Brandon Argarbright, 30, ran through the flames to get out and at least a dozen others escaped by jumping out second-story windows to escape the fire.

Family members say Agarbright realized his girlfriend was still trapped upstairs and ran through the flames again, back into the burning building, to get her. Agarbright suffered burns on over 70 percent of his body, and on Sunday was removed from life support.

A total of four people were hurt in the fire, which authorities are calling suspicious, while at least eight families living in the apartment complex were displaced, the report said.
