Firefighters Respond to Royal Oak (MI) Attached Garage Fire

Fire photographer Dennis Walus shared some images from the scene of an attached garage fire in Royal Oak, Michigan.

At around 1900 hours on Wednesday May 23, 2018, the Royal Oak Fire Department was dispatched to a reported attached garage fire. Engine 9-10 arrived on the scene and reported a working fire in an attached garage of an occupied dwelling. Command was established and fire attack and searches were conducted.

Two cats were removed from the dwelling upon conducting the primary search. This fire was quickly brought under control and was contained to the garage with no extension into the dwelling. Engines 9-10,9-30,9-20 Ladder 9-12, and Rescue 91 responded to this incident.
