OPEN Incorporated, makers of the SafetyPAD® suite of software products for Fire and Emergency Medical Services, announced the opening of its Dallas office.
The move will support SafetyPAD’s continued expansion into the western half of the country, and allow them to service a greater number of agencies in the U.S. and South America.
OPEN Inc. (SafetyPAD) has been developing highly successful electronic EMS informatics solutions since 1993, enhancing the accuracy of information gathering and empowering first responders to focus more on the patients and less on the paperwork. They service four of the 15 most densely populated areas in the U.S. with clients that include Chicago Fire, Boston EMS and D.C. Fire & EMS.
“The expansion made sense considering the growing demand for our electronic patient care reporting platform,” said Scott Streicher, COO at SafetyPAD. “Since SafetyPAD is a cost-effective solution with the advanced features and system components customized to meet each agency’s individual needs, departments are often able to secure funding and grants that help acquire the system.”
Through SafetyPAD’s web-based Enterprise Reporting and CaseFlow modules, the software provides detailed analysis of calls, procedures, status of report preparation, monitoring and corrective action requirements, as well as customizable reports to meet elected officials and the public’s need for information. The system’s unique Enterprise Agent module will allow near real-time information to be sent to key personnel in the event of catastrophic or widespread conditions occur that could affect the public’s need for medical response. With these tools, departments are able to provide rapid, appropriate and timely response based upon current conditions in the field.
