Fire Crews Control California Wildland Fire

Fire burns up the side of some hills.

Fire photographer Rick McClure recent shared some photos from last month’s Sage Fire, which was burning in the Stevenson Ranch area near Santa Clarita, California.

The fire apparently began in early July and burned more than 1,000 acres in Los Angeles County, injuring three firefighters. At one point in the fire, some 700 homes were evacuated from the Stevenson Ranch area of Santa Clarita, according to The Los Angeles Dally News.
