Service has its award
August 1 is the deadline for nominations for the International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation’s 1987 Robert W. Little, Jr., Humanitarian Award. The winner will be someone who has made notable contributions to both the fire service and the general community. When the foundation presents the award at the IAFC’s annual conference in August, a $1,000 gift from Volunteer Firemen’s Insurance Services Inc. will accompany the engraved plaque.
