A South Carolina firefighter found three abandoned bear cubs in a box, reports wsoctv.com.
He stopped, thinking someone had abandoned some puppies. He took the cubs to his fire station and called the department of natural resources.
Two of the cubs were taken to a bear rescue center in Tennessee. The third was taken to a state park in Charleston, S.C.
Experts believe the bears are about a month old.
