Spalding County (GA) Firefighter Fired for Taking Video of Crash Victim

Spalding County (GA) Firefighter Terrence Reid was fired Thursday for allegedly taking video of a car crash victim, Dayna Kempson Schacht, and sharing it at a bar, according to a CBS news report. The county accused Reid of taking cell phone video of Schacht, a 23-year-old mother of two, after she was involved in a fatal crash on July 17. Reid allegedly shared the video with firefighters; an unknown firefighter later took the video to a bar, where he texted it to other patrons. The video then spread, and worked its way to the victim’s parents.
